Before I do this Task Manager says that Registax is running so it hasn't frozen which would give the 'not responding' status. The only way I can close Registax down is to go to Task Manager and End Task. I can open other programs and do other things - I am typing this now whilst Registax is thinking about what it is doing - but I cannot click on any of the buttons in Registax and I have previously left it running for a couple of hours or more with the same result.

I then select the video and the first frame appears in the preview window, but when I click on 'Open' to actually open the file in Registax the software just sits there and nothing appears in the main Registax programme. I set 'CPU' to '1' as I read somewhere that you should do this.

I have downloaded version 6 with the update and I am trying to stack a 2 second section of AVI video that contains about 80 frames, just as a practice. I was hoping someone could explain to me what I am doing wrong with Registax.
